Francie is an American French restaurant. Ambiance is on the noisy side so don't come here on an intimate occasion. Food is pretty neatly prepared and cooked perfectly. Nice view of the kitchen brigade. Looks like a proper NY kitchen. I liked the food overall, it's got decent wow factor and the service is pretty good. The interior needs updating and better sound isolation or deadening. Plating could be a little bit more colorful. A bit more French cuisine feel then this place would be greater. It's a 3.8 for me.

Omg one of the best restaurants I've been to in 2024! We loved every single thing we ordered on the menu, but I would say any of pastas and the duck are must orders. The ambience is that of an old school steakhouse vibe - service, drinks, food were all impeccable. Perfect for a date night - or double date so that you can order and try more things!

One of the first things that I noticed when I first walked in was how loud it was. Not only were the people talking loud but also there was music playing in the restaurant. And there is also a bar at the front, so when that was filled it was loud there too. The staff were professional and very pleasant. After every meal, someone would come around cleaning the table. For a group of 4, we ordered a little of everything. For our appetizer, we had gotten 2 orders of the sourdough bread (it was that good!). It was warm and soft and the spreads that came with it were great. Then we ordered the bluefin tuna. The tuna was super fresh and the flavors were fantastic. The entrees were the famous dry-aged duck breast, halibut, and the conchiglie and angolotti pastas. The duck was brought out whole and then brought to the back to be sliced up. The duck was so lean and juicy. I definitely recommend it. The pastas were great as well although it would have been nice to get more of it for $20-something. We got a big plate with a tiny scoop of pasta in the middle. The halibut was pretty good as well but it wasn't that special to me. The food is decent but I think there are better Michelin restaurants for the same price.
